Faculty
MIIT has a student: faculty ratio of 20:1, the best among the colleges offering MCA in the state. Faculty members in MIIT possess the requisite qualification and have a rich domain experience in the field of Information Technology. Apart from teaching, they engage as resource persons in workshops, seminars, conferences, faculty development and management development programmes.
Senior faculty members additionally render their services as consultants to corporates, who seek their help in analysing and addressing the needs and challenges faced by the industry.
Placements
The Placement Cell facilitates students to explore career options and guides them in identifying potential employers that match their interests, strengths and skill set.
Case studies, real-life projects, group discussions, interactions with industry experts and alumni, all form part of this programme and go a long way in preparing the students for placements.
Continuous interaction with prospective employers is maintained. Placement activities are augmented by regular industry-institution-interface.
Research & Consultancy
Faculty members at MIIT generate knowledge through research that benefits organizations and society. The knowledge generated has appeared in leading academic journals with high citation index and impact factor. Research carried out by MIIT is used to augment new FDP, MDP and executive education programmes.
MIIT also offers consultancy services to the industry. The research and consultancy activities in MIIT has been gaining momentum in the recent past and has been well received and supported by the industry.
Alumni
Alumni MIIT Alumni Association provides a platform to connect and engage alumni in beneficial and meaningful ways. It facilitates interaction and networking among alumni to collaborate and support participation in ongoing activities including guest lectures, buddy talks, research, workshops, events and placements
